General Questions
Do I need a reservation to paint pottery?
No reservations are needed—just walk in and start painting! We provide all the materials and guidance you need to create your masterpiece.
How much does it cost to paint pottery?
Pricing varies based on the piece you choose, with options for every budget. Our pottery pieces range from small, simple designs to larger, detailed items. The price includes all materials, studio time, and kiln firing.
How long does it take to paint a piece?
Most guests spend about an hour or two painting, depending on the level of detail in their design. But if you don’t finish in one visit, no worries! We offer a Progressive Box, so you can safely store your piece and come back to finish painting at your convenience.
Enjoy the creative process at your own pace—we want you to relax, have fun, and create something you love!
What happens after I paint my pottery?
Once you've finished painting, your pottery goes through a multi-step process to ensure a beautiful, durable finish:
1. Drying: Your painted piece dries for 24-48 hours before the next step.
2. Dazzle Dip: We dip your piece in a clear glaze and allow it to dry completely.
3. Firing: The pottery is fired in our kiln at Cone 06 (about 1,940°F), transforming it into a finished, glossy masterpiece.
The entire process takes 5-7 days, and we’ll let you know when your piece is ready for pickup!
Is My Finished Pottery Safe to Eat and Drink From?
Yes! All of the underglazes and dazzle dip we use are non-toxic and food safe. Once your pottery is fired in our kiln, it becomes durable and safe for everyday use, so you can enjoy your hand-painted mugs, plates, and bowls with confidence!
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available in any amount and make the perfect creative gift for friends and family.
